This blog is a collection of cycling routes with Cambridge as a starting point. Cycling is a popular and effective mode of transport within the city, but cycling on country roads is often considered dangerous. But wouldn't the world grind to a hold if we stopped doing everything that might be dangerous? Cycling is a great way to explore the coutryside and exercise, so get on your bicycle and try some of my routes. They follow quiet roads as much as possible, but do take care and wear your helmet!
When you have chosen a route, and you want to print it, do the following: Click on the link called "View larger Map" located under each little route map. This will take you to the Google Maps website from where it's easy to print the route. Just click on the "Print" link right-above the big map. You might want to rescale the map so the route fits nicely on the page. Have fun!
